I've had a few bouts with this since hitting my goal. The key has always been to maintain a cool head, and have a short term memory. If you gain a little, forget about it and move on towards your goal. Likewise, celebrate your smaller goals, but also move on just as quickly. It has always helped me stay even keel. For us football types, it's like when a cornerback gets burned for a TD...they have to learn the lesson and forget about it in order to move on.

Slow and steady wins the race, right? Go Sox!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00037222368629496098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3630465142863512473.post-78947528719111644962008-05-01T06:50:00.000-04:002008-05-01T06:50:00.000-04:00It's great that you are going to focus on the food...It's great that you are going to focus on the food. It's a struggle for me everyday, but I've been pretty successful by making one good food choice at a time, one meal at a time, one day at a time. And don't beat yourself when you slip, and don't use a slip as a reason to give up for a few days.

I never thought I could change my bad eating habits, but by substituting a better food item for a bad food item as choices come up, I've come a long way.

Go for it!DebWDWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10166210127453212638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3630465142863512473.post-30446527658053989162008-05-01T01:10:00.000-04:002008-05-01T01:10:00.000-04:00You can do it Heath.
