The "Best You" Challenge

Before I get into the "Best You" challenge this week, I want to briefly comment on the cancelling of Mousefest '09. To put it simply...I'm bummed out. Just a few days prior to the announcement of the cancellation, I booked my resort stay for what was to be my first Mousefest. I'm hoping that some kind of underground movement will surface and some semblance of a spin off will survive. Does anyone know what that 16 year old kid is doing now that the EPCOT anniversary is over?? I nominate him to lead the insurgence.

On a more positive topic...

The "Best You" challenge, this week for Team Voice had a couple of unique components. The first part was identifying what makes you the best you possible and incorporating that into your workout. For me, it's all about fun. Having fun while working out is very important. It's been a struggle lately. After the joy of running in "The World", the treadmill and elliptical just can't compete. I much more enjoy running outside, but it has been almost impossible with the snow and ice covered streets this time of year. In order to add some fun into my workout, I recently got the Nintendo Wii with Wii fit. My wife and I have been fighting over it at night, and it has really been a fun, competitive way to workout.

Another part of the challenge included participating in the fundraising for Team Voice by coming up with a creative way to put aside a few bucks for the cause. I knew I wanted to contribute some money, but I couldn't figure out what I was going to do differently this week to put aside a couple bucks. Then...like a sign from the heavens...the phone rings. I had been planning on going out to buy Turbo Tax so I could do my taxes this weekend. The phone call was from my mother, who said she had just bought it and just finished using it, so why not borrow hers. Needless to say, I did, and as a result saved myself $40.00. So that's gonna be my donation this week to Team Voice. I know it's not much, but it's something. I'll be sending an e-mail to Jonathan to find out how to get the money to him. This has also inspired me to come up with some creative ways to fund raise. I've got some ideas, but I'll save those for a future post.

Even though I wouldn't be able to get down during Mousefest time of year I'm bummed for y'all. However, how much does that really downgrade your WDW vacation? I'm pretty sure you'll come up with a creative way to spend the extra time while in the world :-) Perhaps come up with your own learning expedition or something..

I hear ya on the running outside, it's just not fun at this time of the year. However, it's crucial to your spring training in that you'll be able to crank it up instead of just trying to come up to speed. So try to get as much indoors/out as you can, you won't regret it!

Great outside the box fundraising, Heath. :-)

Hiv disease for the last 3 years and having hard to eat and cough are nightmares, especially the first year. At this stage, the immune system is severely weakened, and the risk of contracting opportunistic infections is much greater. However, not everyone with HIV will go on to develop AIDS. The earlier you receive treatment, the better your outcome will be.I started taking ARV to avoid early death but I had faith in God that i would be healed someday. As a Hiv patient we are advise to be taking antiretroviral treatments to reduce our chance of transmitting the virus to others , few weeks ago i came on search on the internet if i could get any information on Hiv treatment with herbal medicine, on my search i saw a testimony of someone who has been healed from Hiv her name was Achima Abelard and other Herpes Virus patient Tasha Moore also giving testimony about this same man,Called Dr Itua Herbal treatment.I was moved by the testimony and i contacted him by his Email.drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com . We chatted and he send me a bottle of herbal medicine I drank it as he instructed me to.After drinking it he ask me to go for a test that how i ended my suffering life of Hiv patent,I'm cured and free of Arv Pills.I'm forever grateful to him Doctor Itua Herbal Treatment..He assured me he can cure the following disease..Hiv,Cancer,Herpes Virus,Hpv,Pile,Weak Erection,Lyme Disease,Epilepsy,Glaucoma.,Brain Tumor, psoriasis, Cataracts,Macular degeneration,Cardiovascular disease,Chronic Diarrhea,Lung disease.Enlarged prostate,Osteoporosis.Alzheimer's disease,
